Option A: Everyone is born into solitary confinement cells where they spend the rest of their lives. As a result, no one ever gets raped or murdered, ever.
Option B: Everyone is born into freedom. As a result, some people will use their freedom to rape or kill others until/unless they are found out and locked up after the fact.
Which option do you choose?
You've changed the option again.

Again, here was your original question. And I said that everyone born into solitary confinement would be worth that. But you responded to my question as if I'd said that solitary confinement for everyone was better than freedoms of all kinds:

So for everyone else who may be reading and thinks the lifelong prison scenario wouldn't be a better option than allowing freedom (and all the good and bad that may come of such freedom), this is for you:[...]
Kind of ironic that you falsely claim I misrepresented you and then went on to misrepresent me . . . not really impressed with that, CL.
I'd probably choose option A again. But like I said it's a close one. And I ALSO said I don't think it would actually be possible (how on earth could a world where everyone lives in solitary confinement even be possible? There would be no prison guards to provide food. Everyone would starve to death. What is the point in this absurd hypothetical?).
When you react as if I'm saying solitary confinement is better than all kinds of freedom . . . I'm not. A world without rape and murder without solitary confinement for all would obviously be better than a world without rape and murder with solitary confinement for all. Solitary confinement is obviously awful.
my point is that it's probably not as bad as child rape. Your response is that it's worse than child rape, but you act as if my response is that solitary confinement for everyone is better than freedom for everyone.
Again, what is the point of this false dilemma and strawmanning on your part. Do you actually have a point here?
