- California grew 3.4% in 2017
- well faster than rest of the nation
- California is now the 4th largest economy in the world
- larger than all of Russia
- California has loads of Mexicans, immigrants, Muslims, gays...
- liberal policies work

California also has the highest poverty rate in the USA.

I both live and was born in California. People who think it's some sort of liberal utopia are out of their minds. Central valley has the nations worst meth problem, LA the nations worst homeless problem. The cost of living is outrageous and it's totally unaffordable for the poor.

Did you read that article? The only refutation of it is that the cost of living used for the poverty rate included housing.

Ummmm....well most people have to pay for housing. The other points are just showing that California scores average on other measurements, and really seemed off point.


That all being said, California is still the best state for other reasons. Best weather, best weed, best beaches, best rock climbing.

Little garnered 18% (behind Dianne Feinstein’s 39%), establishing him as the leader among GOP hopefuls running against Feinstein. The poll, released on April 24th (SUSA receives an “A" rating from Nate Silver's 538 blog) also describes Little as Feinstein’s "likely Republican opponent” this November. And despite being denied permission to attend the GOP convention, Little is a fine (one might say “very fine") example of what can slither out of the Republican Party in the age of Trump:

So while Little may be Feinstein’s opponent, it appears more probable that another Democrat will challenge her.
