GOD - They are free!

Moses - Woohoo, great, I'll take ten.

Moses was walking back down the moss covered mountain carrying three stone tablets and shouted down to his flock; ' I have received from God these fift... slip-clatter- these ten commandments!'
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

RE: Free gift.
It's a free gift.

All it will cost you is 10%+ of your income and/or regular donations, feeling that you're worthless and full of "sin" even if you are "saved", and then, theoretically, spending an eternity praising a celestial megalomaniac with a god complex.

If that's a free gift, can I trade it in for the cash equivalent?

Big Grin Well, trading it in will save you the tithes plus an indeterminate amount of therapy money.  Only downside is that you'll have to put up with the constant blathering of people who "warn" you of the dire non-consequences of not taking the gift.
