It sounds more like yammy than yanny to me.

I tried a few different things, wearing headphones instead of using my PC speakers, still yammy. I slowed the video down to 0.25 speed and it's still a very clear YAAHMEE. I'm being optimistic and hoping this means I have young ears like that explanation video said. But then according to what a few people are saying on this thread I'll probably hear laurel tomorrow.

I heard "yanny" at first but I sat there and listened to it again and again, forcing myself to hear the "Laurel."

It worked! But now I can't unhear "Laurel" no matter how much I try to hear "yanny" again.

Boy, my ears aged fast.

For a long time I could not hear "Laurel"

Then after someone separated them, I always hear "Laurel" first, then if I listen hard enough I'll hear "Yanny"
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

All I've ever heard was Yanny. I've actually tried to hear "Laurel" but I just don't hear it.
