Jehovah's Witnesses

RE: Jehovah's Witnesses
God is simply a concept created by people in order for them to worship him. The Creator is, by definition, the one who created everything.

Personally, I would think of The Creator as the process (or whatever) that brought about the conditions neccesary for our Universe to exist.

Honestly seeing truths posts my immidiate responce is to bring up the burden of proof.

I will speak only for myself, Kyuu can speak for himself just fine he does not need me to do it. I accept reality as my senses allow me to verify it's existance. Truth you propose something that is immune to all forms of verification.

Until you can meet the burden of proof it is YOU who is making the extraordinary claim and until you can show otherwise it is you who is delusional.

Consider it like being tagged for a video on youtube or being poked on Facebook, the burden of proof is now on you (always was actually). Good luck.

Well yes - to us atheists God is a concept created by people, and to believers the so-called 'false gods' (or 'Idols') are also concepts created by people...but the "God" you do believe in--if you're a theist--you tend to think of as 'The Creator' or the 'Prime Mover' I would think?...Otherwise - how exactly do you believe in "God"? I guess it must either be metaphorical then or you just believe that God himself is the universe...or something like that? I would have thought? Hmm...

There are many Gods, but only ONE Creator.

And I repeat for the terminally dense ... they're all just gods to the rational observer and to the rational observer no such things exist.

IOW ... prove your god exists because from down here there ain't no fucking difference.

RE: Jehovah's Witnesses
Truth you said the following: The Creator and "God" are not the same.

Honestly speaking I must say that this is the first time I have ever heard anyone make the above claim. In fact, that claim sounds like something that would come out of the mouth of someone who is insane or close to it.Normally speaking for myself when I say God I mean the being or creative force that made the universe and all things in it.I have never heard of the two being distinctive of one another.I dont mean to be insulting but please if you are serious about that claim explain yourself.

I'll post a vid in the videos section later.
Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. (Hosea 4:1)
