In a similar vein, I'm curious to know how many of Trump's supporters polled who exhibited racist attitudes live in places where they have little to no regular interactions with minorities vs. those who do. I think of my maternal grandfather -- long dead -- who frequently expressed racist views but had lived almost his entire life in a small, lily-white North Dakota town, where his interactions with black, brown, or east-Asian people probably didn't exceed the fingers with which he could count them.
