Great discovery.

Not much of an argument for theism, though.

1. He did not use the Bible as his source for his discovery
2. He used the scientific method (methodological naturalism), not theism as a source for his discovery
3. There are zero supernatural entities in his theory, nor does it point to a supernatural entity
4. The training that prepared Lametre to make his discovery, was from a completely secular science program at Cambridge, not his religious studies
5. And, as great as his discovery was, the observations he made were available to everyone. If Lametre did not make the observation, it would have been someone else before too long.

Looks like Tizheruk beat me to it....

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Replace Atheism( as atheism can't by doctrine compel someone to commit violent acts )with Stalinism an  irrational almost religious ideology  that essentially was a copy and paste of the Christian monarchism it replaced

And yet more dishonesty.

Stalin did not perpetrate his mass murdering in the name of atheism.

It was in the name of totalitarian Communism.

His motivation was based on bad dogma, not disbelief in gods.

His regime replaced the bad dogma of an infallible god, with the bad dogma of an infallible State.

There is no possible line to be drawn from atheism, to mass a murderous regime. There is a line from totalitarianism to mass murdering regimes, however.

I believe that theists think that just because their theism is the primary source that informs their worldview, our atheism is the primary source that informs ours.

Thus, they make the kind of mistake that has Stalin's, and other totalitarian Communist leaders, primary motivation for their mass murder as their atheism. Instead, of the most obvious source, their totalitarian Communism.

My atheism does not inform my worldview any more than my disbelief in bigfoot, alien abductions, chupacabra, etc, does.

If anything can be said to be my worldview, skepticism would be high on the list. Also secular humanism.

There is also a good possibility, that the only thing separating the number of people killed by Christians during Inquisition and Crusades, and Stalin, Pol Pot, is the Christians access to modern weaponry, and the world population.
