‘Nothing short of treasonous’

RE: ‘Nothing short of treasonous’
Snowden was willing to risk his life for what he thought was right for his country.  Trump is willing to give away his country to promote his own golf courses.

The traditional panelty calculated for showing the exceptional severity with which the crime of high treason is taken is hanging, drawing and quartering.   The destruction of American reputation as fundamentally steady and reliable partner with who deals can be made and real collaboration sustained is not something that could be made up in 50 years even if the US were to have trump hung, drawn and quartered on the capital mall to demonstrate how serious it is about correcting it.

The damage trump is doing to future American capacity to interact effectively with other nations is already far beyond anerica’s Own power to repair no matter how dedicated the country is willing to be to repair it.

I would have valued his whistle blowing more if he had stayed here. Trump isn't calling out anyone, he is simply pissed that the sane keep reminding him that he did not win the popular vote, but won on a technicality. It bothers 45 that he is not as loved in the west as he would like to think. Snowden was wrong, but if we are going to argue who had more "good intent" but still wrong, Snowden fits that bill more. Trump has no fucking principles.

I don't like the fact Snowden defected to our foe, but yea, between the two, Snowden, as wrong as he was, wasn't looking to be a billionaire. Trump is simply looking to make himself and family richer.

With Republican Party proving its willingness to sell the geopolitical interests of the country to protect an agenda favoring a narrow slice of population with no interest in giving back, trump will certainly not be the last to traitor to take the helm. From now on major foreign adversaries will no longer deal with United States in terms of the country’s alliances and geopolitical interests. Instead they will calculate how best to reward ambitious politicians under republican wing for wrecking the country in a way beneficial to the adversary.

In that sense we’ve stopped being a country and are becoming the corpse of one.

Easy to say when it isn't your ass that will be in the federal pen.

Quote:"From the point of view of U.S. power, (Trump) is harming it, but from the point of view of U.S. elites, he's giving them everything they want," Chomsky said, describing the current administration as a "two-level wrecking ball."

"Everyday there's one insane thing after the other... and while this show is going on in public, in the background, the wrecking crew is working.

"What they're doing is systematically dismantling every aspect of government that works for the benefit of the population. This goes from workers' rights to pollution of the environment, rules for protecting consumers, anything you can think of is being dismantled."

Indeed. It's just ashamed the side that supports him and put him in office ignores this treasonous activity.

I haven’t seen, and the article is just opinion. What was said or done, that was treasonous?

It is his collective behavior.

Has constantly vilified entire races and religions.
Has shit on war heros.
Has ignored intel, and event to the point of vilifying REPUBLICAN INTEL.
Has repeatedly vilified the free press.
Attacked our allies.

And instead of siding with OUR intel, REPUBLICAN appointees HIS, he bent over on the global stage, ignored and denied OUR INTEL, then sucked the dick of Putin.

YES, TREASON!
