How Do You Greet People?

Occasionally I'll hug someone if I know them really well, but my usual casual greeting when entering a gathering is "Howdy," with a slight wave of my hand. Handshake for more formal meetings.

It depends entirely on the people.
With all customers, I'm 100% professional. I wouldn't want a nice female customer thinking I'm some perv or whatever... (I only perv when I know no-one's looking!)

I don't think I've ever kissed both cheeks ... Well I have but that's another story

I consider myself an old-fashioned gentleman, a champion of correct behaviour from a bygone era.  To that end, I generally greet strangers with, 'It rubs the lotion in its skin.  It does this whenever it's told.'

If I don't know the person, I say, 'Hi, how are ya going' or 'G'day mate, how are ya'.
If I do know the person, I say, 'Hey man, how are ya going'.
If I have to hug a woman, like a cousin or old friend I haven't seen for a while, I do it side on so as not to accidentally touch their tits.
Men, I just shake hands and maybe touch my shoulder to theirs and pat their back a bit.
