Former Project Veritas staffer crashes Ilhan Omar campaign event in Minneapolis

A campaign event for state Rep. Ilhan Omar was disrupted Saturday night when Laura Loomer, an alt-right provocateur with a history of attacking Muslims on social media, confronted Omar and Michigan congressional candidate Rashida Tlaib.

Loomer was part of a group that confronted Omar and Tlaib at the event at Holy Land deli in Minneapolis. In an interview late Saturday, Loomer, who previously worked for Project Veritas, said she has been traveling the country investigating Muslim candidates for office, including in Minnesota. She declined to say how many people were with her.



“Unfortunately, [Omar and Tlaib] weren’t able to speak a lot because they kept getting interrupted,” he said. “I’ve seen way too much of this, and it’s really getting sickening.”

As the group shouted questions about Hamas and female genital mutilation, Dehn said, the crowd of supporters began to chant “Time for Ilhan.”

I don't condone any kind of racism, but I'd also like to point out that there is privately held racism, and publically acted upon racism.

Hillary said racist thing, but none of her public policies or platform were harmful to minority groups, none were racist.

Trumps platform was openly racist.  He ran on policy that was aggressively racist and actively harmful to minority groups. He stated he would enact laws and make changes that would hurt minority groups. And he has carried through, enacting new policy that has indeed hurt many minority groups.  

Actions speak louder than words.

Over a year after the election and Trump supporters are still going "but Hilary" to try to excuse the terrible job their guy is doing.

He is failing at EVERYTHING and the rest of the world don't know whether to laugh or cry at his antics.

Yeah, big economic growth and very low unemployment are terrible.

The economy has been growing for years BUT what Trump is doing will wreck that.
Trade wars that he started will damage the entire worlds economy but mostly the US's.
He has already put 1 trillion on the deficit, ruined health care by defunding the affordable care act with no viable replacement installed. He rigged the tax system to make the rich much richer and the poor much poorer. His pulling out of climate agreements at what is possible the most crucial period in world history is on the brink of condemning the world to irreversible climate change.

His posturing on the world stage has exposed the poor negotiator he is and brings the world closer to nuclear confrontation.
