Churches and schools, man, churches and schools. Put's the whole thing into a new kind of perspective, lol. We know there are plenty of grown racists, but they all had to have been kids once..and where the hell are they pumping out all those racist kids? 
Regardless of the ethnic distribution or integration of an area..there will be black and white churches and schools. Meaningful desegregation of either is the exception, not the norm.

People aren't made of new magic books, so it wouldn't matter if a person -couldn't- point to some other verse to justify their prejudice..which, ofc..they can and do. Though..more and more commonly, christian racism is sanitized as opposition to the left and the degraded status of those persons with respect to some idiosyncratic christian standard of decency. The racists, they say to themselves, aren't even being racist. They're standing up to the libs and against the dissolution of the christian family and societal order.
It just so happens that it's Those People™ living like ass crazy savages on the dem plantation, committing all the crimes and whatnot. Christ would not have approved.

It does, but it's a common kind of special hate, and it has it's mimics in other.. more acceptable...forms of expression. If I had to really nail it down..I'd say that out and out antipathy is limited to exactly the places and denominations anyone would expect it to be. Apathy, however, is pervasive. It's the same dynamic at play in the rcc scandal right now, over a different subject.

That's just it: KKK people don't see themselves as hateful or angry, but very loving and protective of the "right" people from "wrong" people to which they don't even consider human beings and there is more than plenty of that kind of "love" in the Bible, like:
