If that's true - that Mueller is timing release of information for poilitical purposes - don't you find that disturbing?

No, I don't. First of all, I would reject your characterization of it as political and merely call it strategic. The justice system in this country is adversarial in nature. If the special prosecutor feels that a crime has been committed, it his duty to present those charges in the best light possible. In that he is acting no differently than a lawyer who selects jury members who will be favorably disposed to his case. Moreover, the special prosecutor is specifically assigned because of a potential conflict of interest between the normal prosecutorial mechanisms and a just result. If a conflict of interest exists in congress regarding prosecution of charges against Trump, then Mueller is simply doing his job by navigating those conflicts of interest. So, I reject your characterization of it as political. Even if my speculations are true, he is not doing it to obtain political advantage, but rather in the interests of justice. Furthermore, my general inclination is that Mueller will release the information when he's good and ready to do so, and that likely won't come until after the midterms and Kavanaugh's confirmation. Given Mueller's history as a Republican, I find concerns about his politicizing the investigation somewhat laughable. What I think concerns you is that Mueller might succeed in getting Trump impeached.

I stand by my characterization of that as political. I don't see how else it can be taken.

You can double down on your prior characterization all you want, unless you can explain how doing so would be inconsistent with Mueller's mandate as special prosecutor then your characterization is baseless.

Thought the reasoning was obvious. If it's not political, he should release the results when he's satisfied that there complete. Things like Kavanaufh and Sessions aren't relevant.

Sure. But Mueller is not so satisfied and thus has not. This is exactly what you claim to expect of him.

Oh, and you borked "they're" and "Kavanaugh".  But since you are a Trump supporter not unexpected.

You're not following the discussion. Jorm is suggesting that Mueller take other - political - factors into consideration, yet claiming that doing so wouldn't be political.

Shuv it up you're Covfefe.

Seriously though, how do you disregard Tiz and others, yet nitpick me? This attitude is part of why Trump won.
