Lol. Yes but only because people let him. I would just ignore completely.

I recommended that early on in his tenure here. Unfortunately, that simply doesn't work. There's always going to be people responding, either out of ignorance or anger.

If you are a deisexual there probably isn't anything you can do about it.  But I'm pretty sure you have to be female to become a bride of Jesus.

How will higher realms closer to his being be, I don't know.

The interaction space perhaps will be similar to this world, perhaps it won't.

Interesting but not at all surprising.

Or in the hope he has a personality, and can laugh at himself.

How can you possibly have any idea what you are signing up for? You invest time effort and emotional energy trying to ensure that you end up in heaven/paradise whatever, what if it's crap when you get there?

When I invest even small amounts on short breaks, I will always read up about the destination, read reviews, talk to people who have been there to try establish whether it's worth the investment. I question, where will I be staying? Will there be anything of interest for me to do? Is it value for money etc.. This usually insures a decent break or holiday.

Can any of you explain to me exactly what you are expecting? or are you happy to admit that you haven't got a clue what you've signed up for? If I was going somewhere forever I would want to know.

The best way I can describe it in the simplest way possible using a fictional character; to anyone familiar with Star Trek, you essentially become a Q...

You are a very good guy MK however you and most religious people as well are also a bit too gullible by thinking that bad people go to hell.

Would you send to hell your kids that do mistakes?  Rolleyes

No idea who or what a Q is unfortunately, Can anybody describe their expectations of their afterlives? I find this very bizarre.

RE: Eternal bliss
I don't understand how the traditional heaven is supposed to work. It seems to require us to either have our minds hacked so that we don't ever want to "sin" any more, or our agency clamped down so we're incapable of it.

It makes a farce of the whole thing, because we could have all been put in heaven in the first place, without ever desiring to "sin" nor being able to. Then we wouldn't miss it, God would have his company or whatever, and everybody would be happy.

Agreed, he could have easily cut out the middleman, but then he wouldn't have been able to threaten children with torture.

The same heart of mine that has compassion over the oppressed hates the oppressors and doesn't want them to enter paradise.  It's irrational that God creates anything that is evil on it's own, and such vengeance and retribution are praiseworthy in their own place but compassion embraces all to the extent we want everyone to leave their evil state and join the good side.

Everything has it's own place and forgiveness loses it's meaning if it applies to everyone in all circumstances.

How do you know that God hate the oppressors?
How on earth can you hate something that you created?
If that would be the case then God wouldn't be God in the first place.
God is perfect therefore from something perfect can not possibly spring or born something that is not perfect.  Lightbulb

Obviously...how can anyone who has not yet passed the test can have access to paradise?
That of course doesn't mean that when these bad people turn into good people even them will have access to paradise.  Lightbulb

In fact God doesn't create anything irrational.
He only create a mental projection in which the positive and negative are playing the big universal game.
When the negative take over for a while then we say that bad people or bad thing happen.
People however forget too easy that sooner or later the positive will balance the lost equilibrium so the universal game will go on and on for ever.

Everything has his own place WHEN the lesson will be learned by the individual.
Unfortunately the priests that wrote the so called holy books have no idea how the whole system works.  Hi
