Outer bands are just starting to hit the area my house is at. Really hoping it breaks up a bit before the eye hits land.

Shouldn't be too tough for a single man. Put $500 bucks in an envelope and never let your gas tank go down below 1/2 full. Done.

As of 11pm EST Florence has been downgraded to a cat 1.
Unfortunately it is projected to remain such until it reaches SC, which means it will go through my county. But they projected a cat 2 also doing that. My bet is as soon as the eye wall hits land it will get downgraded to a tropical storm.

Places getting 1/2 inch of rain per hour for the last 24. Storm surge to 10 feet.

5am, I was wrong, the path is going to have it a Cat 1 all the way through my county, and wont become a tropical storm until it gets to SC, which is directly below my county. It is basically going to sit over everything for almost 24 hours. Man I hope I have a house left.

Last year this time, I survived Irma (cat 2) as she passed by me.
