Seven states bar people with a criminal record from receiving victim's compensation

RE: Seven states bar people with a criminal record from receiving victim's compensation
I've lived in plenty of countries.  I love the US, and this shit also harshes my Murrican Mellow.  I wish we could cut it out.

The whole diversion, though, is one of those "How do you know you like being straight?  Have you ever tried cock?" sort of questions.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Quote:It actually does. You really can't know whether or not you even like the country you are in unless you have also lived elsewhere. Otherwise the problems you have might just be your own problems that people extrapolate to their country. It's amazing how common it is.
Actually it doesn't your free to hate your own country never having lived anywhere else .Saying you have to have lived somewhere else to hate were you currently are is absurd .

Quote:And I do get to assume, you made a thread about it. That's how this works. If I make a false assumption it's up to you to correct it, not just say "you aren't allowed to assume anything" to just try to avoid a conversation.
No it's your job to not make false assumptions without cause not someone elses job to correct you

This is pretty illogical for someone who claims to be logical.  It's like saying "You can't hate Turd Ice Cream if you haven't had other Ice Cream."
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

You don't get to assume anything about why I hate living here.

And you can't tell me what I can or can't have an opinion about. It's amazing how high your level of ignorance is. I suppose you'd tell people who are living in poverty like conditions anywhere in the world that they have no right to think the same thing.

LOL Idiot. It's not my thread. I made a post. A single post stating that I hate living here, as is my right to say. You don't get to correct me on my own opinions since they aren't being touted as a fact.

Bugger off fool.

They only punish the really naughty.

It does appear that violent crimes is the common theme in this list, which they are targeting.

So, if you commit a financial crime you're still eligible for victim financial assistance. Makes perfect sense.

It doesn't seem out of place to me, to treat violent crimes differently.  If you commit a homicide, or an armed robbery, I do think that is in a different category than just skimming some money off of the books.

I tend to agree with those who are against this type of thing all together.  Citing, that they have payed for their crime, and that it is often not a penalty for the person who committed the crime anyway.   Agree or disagree, if you think it should be expanded to other types of crimes or removed all together, then make your case.  I just think that making this about racism is ridiculous.

It's more than skimming money off of books. Conning people out of their life savings (especially the old and infirmed) can be more devastating than an armed robbery.

What racism, you dumb twat. White collar crime = financial crime, look it up.

Oh, wait, you think that colored persons can't commit white collar crimes. Got it.

If you can't discuss civilly, not try to make stuff up and put words in my mouth, then I'm not interested in a conversation with you.
