So everyone should endorse the rape, pillage and slaughter in the bible? Slavery? Genocide? Incest?

The bible bashers happily denounce the exposure of the "children" (Helen Lovejoy moment) to violent video games, movies, media. yet at the same time are quite happy to shovel the abhorrent bollocks of the bible into them from birth and call it morality.

Excellent point.  The fools failed to specify which Bibles should be brought to school. I own copies of 'The Woodworker's Bible', 'The Bible of Practical Blacksmithing' and 'The Skeptic's Annotated Bible.'  Many schools could benefit from these books.
