Fell off my bike tonight

I've done that too, but you Should concider seeing a doc anyway. Last time, a bacterial infection popped up more than a week later. At least now i can still put The costs down as a workaccident.

This basically happened to me as well. I got rear ended on my bike, a drugged up dumbass in a truck smashing my and my bike into the car sitting in front of me. I don't remember anything from the crash, just waking up in the hospital with a state trooper looking over me. Funnily enough, I walked out of the hospital the next day under my own power, with the worst injury being a large bruise along the inside of my left thigh where my bike ending up landing on top of it. About a week or so later, it got infected and started to flair up. It became inflamed and a puss filled cyst formed, that eventually popped and needed to be drained and tended to for well over a week. Add in one hell of a fever that required prescription antibiotics to get under control, and the infection arguably kicked my ass more than the accident itself. Fortunately my mental check up a month after the accident game my cognitive faculties the green light, with seemingly the only anomaly being my inability to remember a good four hour or so chuck of time.

Elevated and iced my ankle, rested all day.  Each attempt to get up to walk to the bathroom only a few feet away has been a struggle.  Called out from work.

Went to the doctor today.  Nothing broken or fractured.  

Right ankle/foot is still majorly swollen while the left foot is still medium swollen with the big toe as red as Carrie after her prom.

At least he gave me leave from work, with a followup this Friday.

An ankle sprain fucks up the ligaments.  If that's what you did learn how to use crutches.  They can take a while to heal.
