Last time I did something like that, I was in a car, and I totaled it.

Glad you're reasonably okay, Kit. It's a shame about any damage to the bike, but you know what they say, "Those aren't scars, those are character marks!" (Well, maybe that's not as inspirational as I had hoped.)

When you've seen the doctor and he tells you what's up, then I'll say that I'm glad you're okay. Right now - do what everyone is telling you - ice, elevation, rest and see a damned doctor.

MVA injuries are often worse than they are immediately after (work in an ER). Might be worth your time to get checked out, you don’t want to be walking around on a sprain or fracture without the proper care.

Elevated and iced my ankle, rested all day. Each attempt to get up to walk to the bathroom only a few feet away has been a struggle. Called out from work.
