There was no Hebrew religion until Moses, of whom is credited with writing the torah, and giving the Hebrews the Law.

Where was Moses born and raised again?

I have two questions.

First, are you claiming that you can't have a religion without a written text?
no

Because the Hebrew religion is centered around the law of Moses, before that the law didn't exist, and this law of Moses became what we know today as Judaism.

Gods covenant with Noah was that he would never again flood the earth, this has nothing to do with the covenant God made with the Hebrews.

Quote:The question of the race of ancient Egyptians was raised historically as a product of the early racial concepts of the 18th and 19th centuries, and was linked to models of racial hierarchy primarily based on craniometry, anthropometry and genetics. A variety of views circulated about the racial identity of the Egyptians and the source of their culture. These were typically identified in terms of a distinction between the Caucasoid and Negroid racial categories. Some scholars argued that ancient Egyptian culture was influenced by other Afroasiatic-speaking populations in Northeast Africa, the Maghreb, or the Middle East, while others pointed to influences from various Nubian groups or populations in Europe.

Mainstream scholars reject the notion that Egypt was a white or black civilization; they maintain that, despite the phenotypic diversity of Ancient and present day Egyptians, applying modern notions of black or white races to ancient Egypt is anachronistic. In addition, scholars reject the notion, implicit in the notion of a black or white Egypt hypothesis, that Ancient Egypt was racially homogeneous; instead, skin color varied between the peoples of Lower Egypt, Upper Egypt, and Nubia, who in various eras rose to power in Ancient Egypt.

In the last few years, the first credible, peer-reviewed genetic studies on Ancient Egyptians have been conducted, which show that a small but significant and consistent percentage of Ancient Egyptian ancestry came from sub-Saharan Africa. This ancestry is lowest in northern Egypt, and becomes increasingly large as one proceeds south through the populations of Middle and Upper (southern) Egypt. A 2017 genetic study of 83 mummies from northern Egypt (buried near modern-day Cairo), which constituted "the first reliable data set obtained from ancient Egyptians using high-throughput DNA sequencing methods," showed that these persons were most closely related to the diverse modern populations of what is now the Arab world, particularly the southern Levant and Arabia, while also indicating smaller affinities to the neighboring southeastern European and sub-Saharan African (Nubian) populations.

Notably, all 83 mummies tested had significant levels of sub-Saharan African ancestry; but this ancestry was relatively distant. Specifically, the mummies contained between 6% and 15% sub-Saharan African ancestry, with this component getting increasingly large in the later eras of Ancient Egypt. The study's authors noted that this is much less than the percentage of sub-Saharan African ancestry in modern Egyptians, and emphasized the genetic distance between modern and Ancient Egyptians.[5] The authors also cautioned that their findings might be unrepresentative of Ancient Egypt as a whole, anticipating that mummies from Upper (southern) Egypt would contain greater levels of sub-Saharan African ancestry than the Lower Egyptian mummies they examined, and anticipated more future research on the matter.

And was owned by rome, at the the time of christianization, who would later export christianity to the aksuma empire in the 4th century.

It's pointless to contend that christianity spread into africa by anything other than missionary means.  Its spread would be curtailed shortly after since rome cracked down on christians then the islamic conquest swept north africa.  Those taken in by the islamic slave trade in west africa for use in the euro and then transantlantic would have been, in the vast majority, pagans.  Their european interlocuters their first introduction to christianity (as it had become) in the 17th and 18th centuries.  Leading to the host of carribbean religious traditions we now see. Their later exploitation by continentals with a different christianity had a similar effect.

These are historical facts.  It's pointless to argue against them or claim that moses has some shit to tell us about any of it (and you butchered that anyway, lol).

Not that it matters..since..in the end, pagan slave populations built their own syncretic christianity, distinct from those of their socio-economic betters, and so it remains to this very day...with churches being among the most segregated places on earth. Is the christianity practised by black americans, today..the religion of their past (or present) oppressors? Yes and no. Demonstrably yes in the sense that you are arguing against (and thus it has always been..from it's inception). Demonstrably no in a sense that you would probably reject for syncretism, lol.

Christianity is not from africa, and the introduction of christianity to africa was largely the work of later europeans, before that it was the work of the roman empire - but by all means, carry on. Neither group had immense amounts of success in their own time. It was only recently that africa became a majority abrahamic continent.

Where exactly are you seeing a contradiction? Yes Egypt is a part of Africa (though it's often also considered part of the Middle East). Yes, there are black people in Egypt, there are also many people in Egypt who look far more Middle Eastern than they do African. People look different. What is your point?

RE: Perhaps African Americans Are Finally Catching On
Yes, Christianity was used in the historical oppression of Blacks in this country. Christianity also played an important role in the abolition of slavery and the Civil Rights Movement. People can spin Christianity to suit any number purposes...just as well as they can and DO with atheism. Truth be told, I read and hear LESS about White Nationalists and other intolerant fucks talking up Christianity these days, and more and more of them extolling the virtues of atheism. Go figure.

That of course, is NOT to say that most atheists are drastically bigoted and/or racist. However, the Alt Right movement is run amok with so-called New Atheists who claim that human bigotry is 'natural' and insist that racial/gender intolerance is justified, and they make no secret of their desire to oppress in the name of  junk "race science" and Social Darwinism. Major White Nationalist movements and sites like Stormfront and Daily Stormer, and  MGTOW, Red-Pillers, and incel movements NOW heavily lean atheist.

Don't believe it? GO LOOK.

And they are slowly but surely drowning out the voices of mainstream liberal and centrist atheists. Young angry white males are "feeling" the messages of fringe atheism in growing numbers, and there doesn't appear to be much mainstreamers can do about it other than ignore it...and happily share the same spaces with them/GIVE THEM PLATFORMS so long as they manage to avoid using the worst slurs, LOL.

Which is cool. Freedom of speech, down with censorship....I get it.
These things are important.

Just don't act CONFUSED when folks don't buy your Big Bad Christianity song and dance as you all stand by and give safe harbor to new Big Bads on the block in your mainstream atheist conferences and SM spaces, because most you simply REFUSE to acknowledge the hideously racist and disturbingly misogynistic DOGSHIT that's steadily piling up in your own backyard.

So I don't doubt that Black believers LAUGH when haughty, self-congratulatory "mainstream" atheists attempt to CHASTISE Blacks like they're stupid fucking children for "identifying with their past oppressors" in simply holding the beliefs that MOST OF THE ADULTS in this country do, when A LOT of the most vile, hate-filled, and dangerous WHITE SUPREMACIST rhetoric being espoused TODAY just "happens" to be coming from atheists.

Hell, it's enough to make me laugh so fucking hard it hurts....and I'm a godless heathen.

So yeah...I would kindly suggest that any "well-meaning" White atheist wanting to make the case for atheism to minorities stick to the BASICS of skepticism/critical thought instead of making emotional appeals based on the -isms of Christianity.
If that sort of shit's to be done, it's best to left to Black atheists who are quite separate from mainstream atheism and still have a leg to stand on.

If anything, you mainstreamers should be worried about your own. You could very well find yourselves a minority within a minority and outnumbered by "fringe" atheists in as little as a decade or so.

DNA Backs a Tribe's Tradition Of Early Descent From the Jews

Quote:The Lemba, a Bantu-speaking people of southern Africa, have a tradition that they were led out of Judea by a man named Buba. They practice circumcision, keep one day a week holy and avoid eating pork or piglike animals, such as the hippopotamus.

Several groups around the world practice Judaic rites or claim to be descended from biblical tribes without having any ancestral Jewish connection. And there is no Buba in the records of Jewish history.

But the remarkable thing about the Lemba tradition is that it may be exactly right. A team of geneticists has found that many Lemba men carry in their male chromosome a set of DNA sequences that is distinctive of the cohanim, the Jewish priests believed to be the descendants of Aaron. The genetic signature of priests -- a hereditary caste, different from rabbis but with certain ritual roles -- is particularly common among Lemba men who belong to the senior of their 12 groups, known as the Buba clan.
Quote:Because the cohen genetic signature is rare or absent in all non-Jewish populations tested so far, the findings strongly support the Lemba tradition of Jewish ancestry. Dr. Goldstein said his findings had been submitted to the American Journal of Human Genetics.
