Big Bang

Big Bang
13.8 Billions of years ago our universe started with the Big Bang. Question: energy and matter that created Big Bang was always there/eternal or it just Magically popped in to existence?

RE: Big Bang
Well, the super-condensed singularity that expanded was probably made of something, so I think that the matter/energy for this universe predates the Big Bang (inasmuch as one can say that there was a "before," as time is also linked to space.

Perhaps the basic "stuff" of this and other universes was a runaway quantum fluctuation that flipped "zero" bits of potential-but-not-existing-stuff to "one" (existing) bits.

Quantum physics and quantum "world" existed forever or it just popped in to existence? Sounds crazy.

RE: Big Bang
Neither.
We are probably one of infinite universes that pop into existence by borrowing energy from a neigbouring universe/brane.
I'm sure it sounds weird and illogical but if we were to see from the outside, it may make sense. Then again, how far can an ape brain expand?

We may be asking a little too much to expect to know or unravel the universes deepest mysteries. We may never know.
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

Little meat sacks on a small dirtball around a minor star in an uninteresting galaxy will have that figured out in no time, I'm sure.

Or we're where stuff goes in a black hole, one that existed in an entirely different universe. Perhaps each black hole has a "white hole" or "big bang" as its terminus. Imagine a super-massive black hole eating an entire galaxy and pooping that matter out in what seem like an instant to us. Follow that thought back through infinite iterations and we still have the original question to ask.

Our local universe started 13.8bya; beyond that their are various hypotheses but the jury is still out.

And probably always will be. The technology to study Before Big Bang (BBB) is quite beyond humans, I suspect. (I bet the Arisians know, however.)

If we are impatient, we can just make up some story like the religious do.

Quantum physics is Magic. Magic = Goddess. Goddess confirmed.
