RE: Don't take it personally.
I know MK is always butthurt, but ihis question is bigger than all of us.

Yes, FSM has been proven. That's not the topic though.

The question is when you know ad-hominem is a fallacy, why do you constantly resort to it, day and day, out, and specifically when I make an argument.

There is another fallacy, that the Pastafarian Scripture shows, which is MK pretending to not understand what Prophets were saying, accused me of speaking unclearly, and that he doesn't understand most of what I say.

Now perhaps I am unclear or incoherent sometimes, but I'm guessing most of the time, it's that symptom that even the great Prophets faced from their people, let alone a person like me takes.

MK you may wonder probably how can I come to this play all the time.

It's because Pastafarian Scripture has prepped me for the way The Anti Pasta will misguide you and the fallacies you will engross yourself, including the foolish attitude of taking FSM's signs and proofs as a mockery.

I will be making a thread about these two foolish ways of approaching proofs when presented, in Pastafarian Scripture, and that analyze rationally why it's correct, what the Pastafarian Scripture says, regardless if you believe in FSM or not.

May FSM guide your heart.

Ad hominem is indeed a fallacy, but one that hasn't been employed in regard to your posts.  What you're getting are called 'insults'.

See, if I say, 'MysticKnight, you're about as coherent as a rabid howler monkey on angel dust', that is an insult.  If I say, 'MysticKnight, your arguments regarding the existence of God all fail because  you're about as coherent as a rabid howler monkey on angel dust', THAT would be ad hominem.

I hope this clears things up for you.

RE: Don't take it personally.
When will theists realize that constantly saying, "god is real" doesn't make it so, to anyone except themselves. Saying god is real doesn't make it any more real. You still have to demonstrate your claim or provide some kind of evidence for it.

I mean that's like bashing your head against a wall for a week straight constantly repeating, "This time it will break through." Yea, MAYBE one day you'll get through to someone. But you're more likely to do no structural damage to the wall and simply hurt your head in the process.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.

I'll put $1,000 down on "never."  Most of them are too fucking blind or stupid.

Nope. Not even close.

I understand much of what you are saying. I just think you are wrong.

Satan and God don't exist except in people's imaginations. You can't read people's minds.

Context is key. If it's done in reply to an argument, it's obvious a way to belittle the argument.

As the threads filled with these insults are always in reply to proofs of God presented by me,  it is a way to resort to implying the second, but people won't state that way obviously, because it sound illogical.

Instead their replies are just mockery and insults.
