The GOP is running the country into the ground, they simply like the orange bully distracting his hate filled bigoted supporters giving the GOP cover from the fact they will if they can, get rid of protections for preexisting conditions, gut social security and medicare, to pay for tax breaks billionaires do not need.
Sorry but FUCK YOU! I have lived next to my neighbors on BOTH sides of me since 07, they have never been violent, never caused me any concern, and have been nothing but nice to me. GOP economics since Reagan is simply short term bubble crap. It is like an alcoholic binge drinker, who has fun for the night, but wakes up in the ER. That is how trickle down economics work. The same fucking GOP policies that gave us the Bush Jr, housing, car bank crash, are the same thing that the GOP is doing again. It will work in the short term sure, but down the road they are going to drive the economy into the ground. The way the GOP does that is to convince you everyone else is to blame accept them. It's not just a state of being, they actively work at diminishing their critical thinking skills and to have faith in authority and not ask awkward questions.
