People will continue to force their stupid, delusional religion on other people until the end of time. I quit.

I think so too. We should be careful and use the correct word here.

It may be that, in his demented brain, Bolsonaro thinks all his policies are Bible-based. But if the military and corporations run the government, it's not a theocracy.

Venezuela's US-backed "democratic" opposition has hailed Bolsonaro's win in Brazil and pledges to work with him. Let's remember this the next time US media describe Venezuela as a communist hell-hole -- the alternative the US government is supporting is certainly no better.

And the Atlantic Council is a NATO-funded think tank which (among other things) works with Facebook to censor web pages. Tomorrow they are holding a panel discussion on how Bolsonaro can effectively deliver on his campaign promises.

Thats why i said hes an idiot earlier.

If his goal is to get to a theocracy, then essentially he is claimin that he gaine dpower to change the state such that someone else gets total power. Doh

What he really meant, much like Trump, is to feed his base with talk about stuff of their wet dreams, like having chatolicism rule and being able to freely discriminate against non-catholics, while he (of course!!) stays in total control. Its, after all, all about him being in total control.

These fucks are so transparent. The only thing that realyl erages me is that some people are stupid or naiv enough (for various reasons) to actually jum o board of this very dangerouns movement.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

What's sad is this can be very damaging to the planet as a whole. There's a reason the Amazon is called "The Lungs of the World."

That's kind of why I pointed him out as being the Nazi businessmen didn't like. Razz

When you look at Nazi economic policy it was always very pro business. Even Gregor Strasser, who was often painted as a lefty Nazi, was very orthodox in his economic views and outlook (in the 1930's orthodoxy was very similar to today, supply side, trickle down economics ruled then as now). It was only over his abhorrence to Hitler's obsession with big guns that he was pushed out.
