Far be it from me to diverge from the wisdom of william..but..watching it go down, I'm pretty sure they had a preexisting arrangement.

From what I understand, contraception is more widely used and available in the US these days. I mean, I get my own contraceptive pills fully covered by my insurance with zero copay (thanks, Obamacare!!). Fewer unwanted and unplanned pregnancies means fewer abortions and live births.
If that's the case, the pro-life side's crowing about reduction in abortion rates doesn't hold water.
