I think, contrary to your view here, Trump's tweets are an integral part of his politics and are aimed, intentionally or not, at accomplishing specific personal and political objectives. Rather than, as you see it, an excess on Trump's part, I see it as something important to him and his objectives. The message is a part of the reason it's troublesome, and perhaps a bit more strategic and tactical intelligence could be applied, but his tweeting has served, at minimum, a very useful propaganda function for him, despite any of the negatives you might cite. It's the exposure on things such as calling people stupid that is the problem, not a question of whether his doing so serves a useful purpose or not. It clearly does. And that's one of the sad observations about the current president.

Actually it has everything to do with it. As Trump above any of the people you list makes personnel loyalty to him ( something he seems fickle on himself )and to what he wants a litmus test for remaining employed or being publicly discredited by him . Which makes anyone he fires ( by the way this includes all Republican presidents so don't give me that partisan crap) that much more suspect . Weather he has the right to do it or not is aside the point something can both be a right and be bullshit .

The level of stupid among liberal Trump-haters here is just about on par with people who see Jesus in their toast. Anything that "proves" what you already believe appears to be ample evidence that you were right all along. However, I do want to respond to two particular bits of dumbassery before I log off for the day.

The problem is, you're assuming you're not one of the ignorant cunts.
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

As for him replacing Rosenstein and replacing him with a puppet that couldn't be more agenda driven and no whatever Obama did ages ago has no bearing on my objection to how shady this looks .

This is true too above all others he's the "twitter president " and his Tweets are considered official statements by the president and his administration so these are not just private opining s

So... your personal belief that you know why Donald Trump does everything is your evidence.

I'm curious. Would you be best pleased if you were convicted of a crime based on such flimsy legal reasoning?

You do understand that OUR INTEL such as the FBI and Justice Department, contain THOUSANDS of politically diverse individuals and they don't all get fired and replaced every time the office changes power. Mueller isn't basing anything he is doing on politics and he HAS served under both parties in the WH.

Your problem isn't the special council, your problem is the asshole in the WH.

Indeed his tendency to throw out dissenters for minor breeches in sycophantic loyalty is striking when compared to any who came before him in both pettiness and number (and yes that includes Republicans )

We hate Trump because he's a racist, misogynist, science-denying, simple-minded, classless, amoral circus clown. Anyone who supports that human piece of garbage is a fucking idiot. You have no business insulting anyone else's intelligence because as a Trump supporter, you have the intelligence of a retarded monkey.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

I don’t doubt Trump’s instincts regarding the methods he uses to keep his base loyal (the tweets, the barely veiled racist/ misogynistic comments, playing the victim, etc). While it troubles me that it works, there’s really no question that it DOES work.

But, in the process of pleasing his base, he’s also doing significant and long-lasting damage to the world community.  To paraphrase Terry Pratchet, Trump is a natural statesman in precisely the same sense that a fish is a natural mountaineer.

Yes fear sells. That is how any good dictator rises to power. Scapegoat anyone who challenges them, offer themselves as the only solution.

Trump is a natural statesman in the same way a pile of watery excrement is a precision watch.
