I've been raised in a muslim country. So I really didn't know anything about christianity, And when I started to learn about christianity there's something I didn't get. Trinty. Is it a cultural thing or you don't get it too...

Trinty. Is it a cultural thing or you don't get it too... The Christian trinity is very hard to understand, you need to understand Neo-Platoism to to begin to try and understand the Trinity. I will use an example of a modern day religion, which incorporates thinking very similar to that of the Neo-Platonists used. Namely Hinduism, where the various gods are manifestations of Brahman (the godhead) who is the eternal, unchanging, infinite, immanent, and transcendent reality which is the Divine Ground of all matter, energy, time, space, being, and everything beyond in this Universe. Back to the Christian trinity, a brief description would be one godhead and three separate persons. Namely god the father, the son Jesus Christ and the holy spirit.

I don't think the christians even really understand it.

Trinty. Is it a cultural thing or you don't get it too...In a nutshell, the doctrine of a Trinity is that God is one being and three persons. To contrast, in Islam, Allah is one being and one person (like human beings). One model that can be used to understand it is that God has three "centres of consciousness", as opposed to one. The reason that Christians should believe it is that the Bible teaches that there is one God, that the Father, Son and Spirit are distinct persons, and all three are God. Sadly, however, many Christians either have a poor understanding of it, or just accept it without consideration (as they often do with many things). It's more that you'd have to suffer from psychosis to genuinely believe you're the son of God, really.
As it happens I have experience of that myself.
I'm not certain ...but I am thinking that the whole 'trinity' mythos was abducted from Hinduism via the Celts and used to reassure the conquered Celtic nations of the validity of christianity.
And yes...the Abrahamic god is schizo or at least his prophets were. "The Universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements: energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest." G'Kar-B5
Let Mr. Deity explain it:
