The Jedi have been around for how many millenia? Shirley there are stories yet to be told. Seriously, "First Jedi"?

No doubt. How many angles on Han Solo have we already seen so far?
As for this thread-- I already know, for sure, that I will watch every Star Wars movie they ever choose to make. The first movies are so ingrained in my childhood psychology that I don't even care how imperfect they can be.
So far one movie and a whole comic book series

"Familiar sells", like cowboy movies and slasher flicks.

I think the future of Star Wars lie in comic books and fan fiction. If there is another live action film then I will be even sadder about the future of the film industry than I already am after the slew of Marvel comic movies.

I am not prejudging the future. I am postjudging the past.

Did you see the new trailer? Death Star and the Emperor are coming back.
I guess it was logical to bring back the Emperor since they killed Snoke in the last one and there is no time to introduce new baddie and then kill him so they opted for the old one.
