Unfortunately this is the new version of conquering. They just brainwash the public so that they believe it is something else. I really hope enough people start to realise what the mainstream media really is before that’s all they are able to hear; that day is not far off now.

Unfortunately I think you are right and main stream media will be ignored.
Its why civilisation peaked in 2015 and is now on a downward spiral because the "mainstream" is the only media that can be trusted in any way. The rest is all unregulated self interest groups and Russian bots all with an agenda that unfortunately is believed more and more.

So although I think you are right that main stream media will die I think you are wrong that its a good thing.

Newspapers and TV networks are obviously problematic, but at least they have addresses and people who can lose their jobs, if caught lying. I don't see why I should trust some random guy on social media to tell me "how things really are". Rolleyes

The "mainstream media" needs a reputation of reliability or people won't watch it. (Contrasted to Faux News, which has a reputation of saying what some people want to hear.)

If your point is that Trump/USA is backing the wrong Venezuela leader because of the CIA, then the CIA must be pretty convincing. Look at how many other countries they've convinced: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-47053701
