Russian cutouts and election sabotage, on the other hand..are not. I think that people might want to do some research on the mythos of Assange and wikileaks.

That's the amusing bit, it was never what people thought it was. A check on power, for example, exposing secrets? Not really. A transference of power based on divulging secrets selectively fed to destabilize order for other interested parties, more like.
-and that was at their best ...at worst, they were doing that by exposing recipes.
