Yeah, I can't really see that as censorship. It isn't as if they were editing or redacting Jones' posts and videos to make them more palatable, they simply booted him out the door. It's more similar to a publishing house severing ties with a particular author, as if Dr. Seuss started writing children's books about dismemberment or something.

Newspapers, TV, and radio have long refused to carry advertisements for things they do want to have on their medium.

I get it, I just don't see it as censorship. If the Financial Times decline to run your advert for herbal boner pills, it doesn't prevent you from finding another outlet (The Sun would take it in half a minute).

Boru That was rather my point. Those are businesses that have to take public opinion into account, and being seen as supporting an extremist position is likely going to be bad for business.

Fair assessment.

Swastika flag-carrying white supremacists chanted "6 million more" at a Holocaust remembrance event in Russellville, Arkansas.
Really, you don't think there shouldn't be some anti hate laws?

The strong haters are never going to listen to reason. Without something to contain and restrain them they would happily go out and kill their "enemies", man, woman, and child. We've seen this happen in history, it's not speculation. I know people who can recite endless bible verses about ruthless, deadly, over-the-top vengeance on "thine enemies". They believe that's god's orders to them to go and eliminate whoever it is they hate.

'Hate' is an emotion. Not really sure how effectively you can legislate against what people feel.

Well maybe when someone goes on the streets and calls for killing of 6 million people would be a nice start. I mean, for instance, it is already a crime to discuss/ plan/ call for presidential assasination so why not something similar in these cases?
Or what if some muslims came out on streets in Arkansas and called for deaths of 6 million white Christians - you think there wouldn't be any repressions on them?

I fail to see how one bad law is justification for another. And 'whataboutism' in never a good argument.
