Sorry, what's Tapestry?

Here is the longer trailer released at the San Diego Comic-Con. It looks like they are resurrecting Data for the new series:

What actually got my attention was 7 of 9 and what appeared to be Borg cubes.

Yeah but it seems like those Borg cubes got abandoned by Borg an got redesigned by hipsters.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Yeah, borg cube was supposed to be the caricature of all brute function and no form.    But  apparently all brute function and no form needs to become more stylish.

But why not.  The borgs themselves were suppose to be the epitome for all programmed servant of the collective expansionist will, until the will needed to be animated by a single sexy vampire cyborg queen intent on seducing Data.

Oh now we get to see more of TNG characters and they all seem to be living Kirk-like nexus retirement

Yeah, not sure about this one.

I’m a fan of Patrick Stewart but the whole badass 7 of 9 running two handed with guns blazing does nothing for me.

I’ll watch it but don’t have high hopes.

Said the same about Discovery and wasn’t surprised.

When does Season 1 begin and on what network?
