Persecution complex is very strong here, I think. You see it with the religious, you see it with some progressive "SJWs" as they're called, and you see it with gun owners.
This obsession with defending one's self is largely irrational, and at this point it's fairly antiquated idea. Mostly because the amount of places in the US that you are legitimately unsafe without a firearm is... low. The amount of places in the US that you are legitimately unsafe without an assault rifle is... zero. And yet...

It's been reported he was executed. In all probability he was. So that didn't work out so well for him.
But safe bet - the guy driving the tank is just fine....

I feel I approached this whole thing wrong.
I am now very pro-gun, Teachers should have guns, janitors, lunch ladies, and the principle.
I'm all aboard bulletproof backpacks.
In an entirely unrelated matter, I'm opening up a child-sized casket warehouse and will be needing people who are good with clerical work.

All these idiot open carry and concealed carry morons wont accept that even trained police get injured, and that was proven once again in Philly where 5 police officers were injured in a shootout with a suspected drug dealer. If trained officers can get injured, how the fuck do these Rambo wannabe's think they can play hero in public without constant training? There is a huge difference between taking 1 safety class, and the required stress training shooting under stress, which is constant week after week month after month for police.
