How to easily defeat any argument for God

Good here is just another way of saying it’s tasty. We acknowledge that meaning of good here is subjective rather that objective. It’s something said about the subject rather than the object. Good expresses something about you, and not the pizza.

This shouldn’t be something that we should be disagreeing on, particularly when we both readily acknowledge that we’re talking about something subjectively good here.

You might not understand what this has to do with the objective goodness of morality just yet, but you shouldn’t be so resistant to acknowledging the nature of a subjective good.

Resistant?

I'm just telling how I see it, lol.

I majored in psychology, so perhaps that has fostered in me the kind of thinking I'm expressing here. I don't see good in the same way you do anyway, so the question really doesn't make sense anyway.

Where is the good? The good isn't really anywhere. It's abstract.

Okay if good isn’t anywhere, then you acknowledge that it’s not in the pizza, it’s not in well-being, or in what’s conducive to well being, perhaps you might say the same of bad as well, that it’s not in anywhere, it’s not in harm.

Is that right?

I see good acts, bad acts, good tasting pizzas, bad tasting ones.

I've never seen the good or the bad though.

Abstracts do not exist apart from the physical, or as their own thing floating about.

If you're asking what is that makes a pizza taste good? It's something about the pizza that triggers my mind to favor it (based on conditioning and prior experience).

So what is it, earlier you claimed that good isn’t anywhere, now you seem to suggest it can be a part of some physical things? That sounds to me like a contradiction. If it’s not anywhere, than it can’t be in some physical things.

It's not in any physical thing. We have things that we perceive as good or bad. We have things that are tall and short and stout and thin, it does not mean therefore that we have the tall, the short, the stout, etc.

Complex compound property, like health.

Health is nowhere. It’s not a thing you can touch, but it’s real and natural all the same. We’ve already been over this multiple times in multiple threads, Acro.

Looking like a hard no on you ever unclogging your ears. What kind of monumental piece of shit has “discussions” like this?

What does your arbitrary and subjective divine morality have to say on the matter?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

If X is just good, then that's still X is good because of something about X

Let’s ask this of a subjective good, like dominos pizza is good, where dominos pizza is x. Let’s introduce a y as well which stands for my taste buds.

Is good here something about x, or good here something about y?

Perhaps you recognize in this example that good is really about y, good is description of my likes.

Your not going to find the “good” in the pizza, it’s located in me, in this example of a subjective good. Do you agree?

If it was my answer, would that have been an adequate response? This is the type of response you were looking for? Am I correct?

Omg, dude. For real? How long are we going to do this dance? I’m not looking for you to say what I think is “correct” or “adequate,” you lying cretin. I want to know what you think. You have one more shot at a straightforward and honest answer, and then I’m done with you.

A fucking troll is all I can figure. Acro will go down in AF history as the guy who doesn’t know why torturing babies is bad. Nay; he’ll be known as the guy who’d rather be known as the guy who doesn’t know why torturing babies is bad, than be known as the Christian who admits there are reasons why torturing babies is bad that have nothing to do with a god. That’s some reputation to have following you around for net-ternity.

Will someone please explain it to me, too?
