Everyone wants proof today instead of believing in something. That means we're living in much more fear than our ancestors did. They just lived life working the fields to survive until they died. We're living in an internet culture where every idea has to be checked out. Our ancestors understood when a lazy child was born or one who became greedy out of nowhere. Other children would masturbate at a very young age even while they lived out in the middle of the country where they couldn't learn these from other people.
I could teach you the symbolic story of how God created Adam and Eve that would explain how God corrupted the DNA of our cells to force us to disobey the law and commandments of God. He needed all his people deceived while he worked with his prophets, Jesus and us saints in his truth. It's much easier to hear the truth when everyone is a liar. Sinners can't understand the things of God so they became religious, instead. They worship their own ideas and interpretations of the scriptures instead of the true God that's impossible for them to know.
