By definition - any press with partisan leanings is going to be biased - so while they may not spread lies - they are unlikely to tell the whole truth either.

Lies are usually easier to spot than ommissions.

Many people on the ( D ) side don't like to talk about this - but -  fact is -

President Trump was a registered ( D ) from 2001 to 2009. He has also claimed to be an independant - and a member of the Independence Party. (Isn't that an oxymoron?)

Inconcievable as it is that he got elected as an ( R ) - it is not unrealistic that he could have ran --  and -- possibly won as a ( D )....

It makes me giddy to imagine the discomfort.....

So what? I didn't get the impression that people here are in love with the Democratic party. People here are more inclined to (D) because Republicans have gone completely berserk, racist and bought by oil lobby, so there isn't any other choice until Republicans get their shit together or there is some new party.

To me it doesn't look like Trump himself has any particular personal opinion about politics (he seems to be a zombie) he is simply being manipulated by theocratic racists, Koch brothers, oil lobby and other criminals.

I didn't know anyone was unaware of the fact that Trump used to be a registered Democrat. There's even a verified quote of him saying that the economy seems to do better under Democrat presidents.

The strange thing about Republicans right now is how harshly they criticize others while simultaneously putting up with so much nonsense from Trump.  He lies.  All the time.  At least left-leaning sources don't just make things up.

And by the way, we are allowed to have different opinions on the facts, just not different facts.  If Republicans were more careful to stick to the facts when making their arguments, I would listen to them more often.  But they have lost all credibility to me.  For instance, denialism of climate change science is a huge and unforgivable problem with Republicans.

More fun thoughts, like that one. In the last thirty years so many people have been released from prison on account of wrongful convictions that their total time lost is in excess of 20k years.
