Walmart follows Dicks sporting goods......

RE: Walmart follows Dicks sporting goods......
Lots of people think they need a gun to defend their home. They are certain the threat will wait for them to get the gun out of a safe and the owner to make sure nobody else is in the line of fire.

I don't see any problems with that scenario.

There are bedside safes whereby you can access your gun in 1.5 seconds or less.  Of course, this assumes that you aren't so panicked by Mr. Recreational Chemicals trying to kick in your front door that you can remember the safe combo on the first try.

You seem to think everone lives in whatever type crackerbox hovel you do.

I live in a house - with physical and electronic security.

You are not getting in before I have a gun in hand, ready for use.

And that is even accounting your imaginary ninja skills.

If you have need of one - they make such safes with biometrics. No combination needed.

And there are videos online that show you how to beat those safes. I'm sure kids won't watch them if their parents forbid it, of course. Dodgy

Pretty much everyone I know who has guns - grew up with guns in the house - unlocked and loaded.

Kids were taught to not handle guns.

There were no incidents.

What kind of hellspawn are you raising that can' t be taught to leave a fucking locked safe alone?

One video shows how to beat a thumbprint safe with the foil off a stick of gum.

So that's where you learned your " mad ninja skills".

And here we thought you did it OJT while working in that boiler room...

Yeah, because ya know...a 2 year old has the developmental capacity and impulse control to understand and execute gun safety. 🙄
