I'm convinced one of her lines was taken straight out the recent Godzilla film. But maybe that's just me being a huge Godzilla fan. lol But I thought the speech was neat. I mean people need to realize she has Asperger's so she obviously won't act like someone who is properly socialized. Seems many are forgetting that. It's disgusting some of the attacks she has taken on. I can't imagine the death threats she and her family gets by the hour.

Are you saying it's the fault of children? There are only two groups here by default. Kids and grown ups. It is the fault of grown ups. He didn't say all adults.

I don't see a problem with her. She found a message to deliver and it is one supported by science. I don't see why she being a brat or something, has any bearing on message delivered. If it serves to make people aware that we are making the conditions on our craddle unsuitable for life for our children, the better.

Doesn't mean I disagree with the agenda, but I don't believe in indoctrinating children no matter what the cause is. My biggest criticism of the whole situation is it seems that she's being used by the adults around her. I have a hard time believing that all of this was genuinely her idea.

Her father does not like her missing school, but said: "[We] respect that she wants to make a stand. She can either sit at home and be really unhappy, or protest, and be happy".[17] Thunberg says her teachers are divided in their views about her missing class to make her point. She says: "As people they think what I am doing is good, but as teachers they say I should stop."[17]

Thunberg published a collection of her climate action speeches, No One Is Too Small to Make a Difference, in May 2019[19] with the earnings being donated to charity.[20] In one of her first speeches demanding climate action, Thunberg described the selective mutism aspect of her condition as meaning she "only speaks when necessary".[14] In 2019, Thunberg also contributed a voiceover for a release of "The 1975", the theme song of an English band by the same name. Thunberg finishes by urging: "So, everyone out there, it is now time for civil disobedience. It is time to rebel." Proceeds will go to Extinction Rebellion at Thunberg's request.[21]
