Well, considering what she accomplished in a year I wouldn't be worried.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
Greta said that adults who attack her must feel threatened and are doing anything to avoid talking about climate change.
Meaning that they feel threatened because climate change denial is on their agenda. Any climate change deniers here? No? So the adults who attack her here aren't threatened then. They just don't like her. Good, all sorted, fucking thread closed. :-) (October 2, 2019 at 6:05 am)Little lunch Wrote: Greta said that adults who attack her must feel threatened and are doing anything to avoid talking about climate change. What? Why does she have to do experiments, lol?

Right? I'm so confused about that. The kid is a protester, not a scientist. No one has provided an example of a person turning to her for climate science, yet the argument is that she's not a climate scientist. Well, no shit.
Fine - she' s a protestor. That' s great.
Give her a sign to hold up - and give the.microphone to someone who actually understands the science. ...
Why? No one is listening to them, either. It doesn't make a difference. People with a vested interest in denying it will continue to deny it. Let the kid at least motivate people who aren't in denial to do something, which she has done successfully. I mean, I'm not marching. Who has time for that? Still, she's got plenty of other people off their asses.
Until they find a way to make money off dealing with climate change there will be people who will deny it.
