3) Why is there no evidence for Noah's flood and history continuing uninterrupted around the world at this time?
That was a question I asked myself even when I was in 6th grade. I was an avid reader of NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC and perused a number of articles about ancient civilizations that were completely unaffected by Noah's worldwide flood. I have to admit, however, that even without this evidence, I pretty much regarded the flood story as an preposterous tall tale.

For the same reason one might have a gratitude to life, being in awe of reality around them, all of which rather than being directed to human creatures, but at the source of it all. The majesty of it all.
Is there a point to that? I can understand people worshiping a God thinking they're doing themselves a favour or trying to do the right thing by others, spreading the word and so on.. But I can't get my head around someone worshipping some unknown something because of the awesomeness of the universe.
Ah well, each to their own I suppose.

Sure, to live my life, with a prevailing sense of gratitude, wonder and amazement, with a sense of something profound deep, and rich about it all.
Now perhaps you might acknowledge this about yourself as well, but assign its to the universe here, but it’s rather synonymous, where reality of universe is just replaced with a reality of God, as if they are one and the same.
It would be sort of like assigning it all to the singularity.

Yeah, so my point remains.. What's the point in worshiping it? It asks nothing of you, and you expect nothing in return. I still don't get it. If I were indeed grateful to be here, I would be worshiping my fathers fastest swimming sperm.

Because I posses the capacity to worship. And worship gives me something. God doesn’t gain anything from my worship, nor does the universe
And you fathers sperm is just one contingent factor, of many. There’s no point in stopping at the sperm, but that which ever makes life ultimately possible, not just merely a contingent result.

I'm a little disappointed (but not surprised) that no Christians have attempted to answer my maths question.

If money is the root of all evil, why does God always need money?
It actually says the 'Love' of money to be fair.

You have three choices:
1. Because money is root of gods
2. because god is the roof of money
3. because got wants evil but is not quite omnipotent.

2)In the week of creation, how was there an "evening and a morning" for three days when the sun wasn't made until the fourth day?
3) Why is there no evidence for Noah's flood and history continuing uninterrupted around the world at this time?
4)How could people in the bible live 500- 1000 years when lifespans only reached 70 in the 20th century?
5)Why were they already speaking and writing Chinese in China and Sanskrit in India long before god "mixed up languages" at the Tower of Babel? Why don't all cultures around the world trace their origins to the exact same spot in a Babylonia?
6)Why is there no evidence at all for the presence of millions of Israelite slaves in Egypt and a miraculous "Exodus." Why didn't neighboring empires even notice such a major blow to the area's superpower and loss of its army?
7)Why is the Ark of the Covenant missing? How do you know it even existed?
8) How could Jesus claim descent from the royal line of King David if Joseph was not his biological father?
9) Why is there not a single contemporary eyewitness to Jesus' ministry outside the bible?
10)Why do good people and innocent children suffer terribly while evil rotten people often live long healthy lives?
11)Why did god himself in the bible commit or order the murder of millions of innocent people - especially children? How can you worship such a genocidal monster?
To be honest, I don't think any of these questions would seriously challenge the sophistry of any Christian properly indoctrinated in the religion's deep and foundational contempt for his fellow men's worth and intelligence. If he had the moral and intellectual integrity to refrain from spinning some sophistry, and admit both being stumped by these questions and what the implication of that might be, chances are he would not have still remained a Christian.

Frankly, I see no difference between the love of money and certain religious institutions' (especially the Catholic Church) insatiable greed.

And I'm not going to wait around forever to find out what bats argue about.
To be honest, I don't think it'll ever get sorted anyway, so it's probably futile knowing the answer.
