Georgia Reporter Groped on Live TV

RE: Georgia Reporter Groped on Live TV
I used to be a bouncer in a country/western bar that was owned by a couple in our neighborhood that I went to school with.

During deer hunting season they used to bring in male strippers for the "Whitetail Widows."

Just me, 8 or 9 security guys, a half dozen male strippers, and 400 or so horny women. I would get groped 50 times or more just walking across the bar.

I felt "so violated".

....

I miss that place.....

I feel I have to apologise on behalf of my gender. You shouldn't have to put have put up with that.

Not for me, but I spent my teen years pregnant.  Too many men don't realize how fucking creepy this is.  THey're like "I wouldn't mind if a woman did it to me!"  wonder how they'd feel if a man did it to them, though.
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

Was at a dance when I was in my early 20s dancing with my date. Some random guy came up behind me and grabbed my ass. Without looking I swung around and backhanded him in the mouth splitting his lip. He started yelling at me. Guess it would have been good for him to know my date was a black belt with a bad temper. He should have taken his fat lip and moved on.

Most of the time when I was out in bars in my younger days I was the bartender. I liked having the bar between me and the boozy, over-impressed with themselves guys.

I've never understood why anyone thinks they have the right to touch someone without their consent. I am not even a 'huggy' person. Stay out of my bubble and I'll stay out of yours - regardless of your intent.

I was at a party once and a guy walked straight up to me and grabbed my tits. I responded with a knee to his groin.

He spent a good few minutes lying on the ground in pain.

The incredible bit is that I was the bad guy. I was called a bitch and all sorts of other things by his friends.

One even justified his actions with “but he always does that.”

And I basically said well, he wouldn’t be doing that with me again.

For as simple as 'Keep your hands to yourself' is, it is surprising how many people don't seem to understand it.

Should be easy enough since it’s one of the things we were supposed to learn in kindergarten.

You'd think.  Shame the refresher course has to include kneed balls and jail time. My wife has only been groped once since we met.  I was about 20 feet away when it happened and before could I do my Knight In Shiny Armour bit, she had him on the ground with her forearm across his throat

I think I’d like your wife.

I feel like almost every woman I know has been groped without her permission at least once in her life. It's ridiculous. Why do some guys think it's okay? I feel like one of these days it's going to happen to me and I'm not going to feel so generous as to let them off with yelling "Creep!" at them. Last time it happened to my sister, the guy did NOT realize that she was a kickboxing instructor.
