The Cons promised to get Brexit done, no more faffing about, whereas Labour promised a second referendum. Believe you me, the UK population is SICK TO THE BACK TEETH of Brexit, and just want it over and done with. There is also the unfortunate affliction affecting the Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, in that, IMO he appears to have ZERO charisma. So, basically, people voted not with their heads but more with their, er, fee fees.
Are you going to ignore the fact that the British media and pro Israeli groups have been smearing  Jeremy Corbyn while ignoring the worst among the Cons

Oh sure, there was a lot of that too and I wasn't ignoring it, it just seemed so transparent and vacuous to me I guess I couldn't see how anybody would take any of it seriously....I suppose some MIGHT have...dunno.

If you can get on the ballot, you've got my vote (multiple citizenship is kinda cool).

You can't be elected Queen of Scotland, you have to invade Edinburgh Castle, shedding gallons of blood along the way, seize the throne by force and then perform a flawless rendition of "Danny Boy" on the bagpipes. Everybody knows that.

Yeah, just a few problems with that.  1) 'Danny Boy' is Irish, not Scottish.  2) Sterling or Perth would be more traditional. 3)  I'm not entirely sure we could limit Beccs' blood-shedding to mere gallons. 4) Anyone who plays bagpipes doesn't deserve to be monarch.  Of anything.

Interesting side note:  I was briefly jailed (for my own protection) in Edinburgh for singing 'Scotland's Depraved' in public.

Oh, I dunno.  I can picture Scottish men watching that routine and thinking to themselves, 'Yon man makes a fair point.'  Lowland Scots, I mean.  I can picture Highlanders seeing it and smiling while reaching for a rock.
