Who are the impeachment managers?

RE: Who are the impeachment managers?
Hold the presses!

Politics are politically motivated? The hell you say.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Given that we're talking about a head of state politics would definitely be a factor.

It helps if you think of the whole thing as politically motivated - as it is - and not some high minded enforcement of the law - which it isn't.

Pelosi likes pretending she isn't partisan. If she wasn't she could have at least a token ( R ) on her team.

Her idea of "bi-partisan" is for a bunch of ( R )s to spontaneously switch sides....

Impeachment is a political process.  It is only tangentially a legal one in that it has the force of law.

But why would she include Republicans anyway (as if any of them would agree to it)?  The whole point of her impeachment managers is to present the case against the President.  What you're looking for is akin to requiring a legal team prosecuting for murder to hire attorneys who think the defendant is innocent.

Or it doesn't and while this isn't a legal trial it's still about enforcing rules and not the cynical nonsense your ploying

In this case she isn't and putting a Republican in would be meaningless

No it's for the Republicans to grow freaking spine and care about the truth rather than cower before Trump's twitter tantrums .

If a person doesn't complain about there being no republican impeachment managers, they can't complain when republicans inevitably refuse to impeach.

The heads they win tails you lose theory of politics.

In mere reality, people have been grumbling about the gops refusal to cooperate since forever. It's unfortunate to see that half of our two party system has abandoned the US to serve the interests of Trumpistan.

Yeah. It is just politics. Because politics is politics. It’s a tautological argument to say that something related to politics is politics. It means nothing.

Ahh yes, the guy who's 'totally not a trump supporter' once again slurping Trump. Why am I not surprised?

And you'll of course reply "I didn't even vote for Trump!" which is all part of the script. "Look at me! I'm reasonable! I didn't vote for Trump! But I oppose impeachment for REASONS!"
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.
