Is that why the brothers can't swim?
Is that a yes?
When talking about racism makes people angrier than actual racism.

Black men are what? like 5% of hollywood yet 100% of the documentaries about sexual misconduct are about black men. No. I suggest that you don't paint everyone of a single race with one brush and try to recognize that things aren't always about race. Quote:But the MAJORITY of white people voted for Trump (who surrounded himself with white supremacists)... people who voted against their own interests in order to maintain white supremacy Trump didn't get the majority. Do you know something I don't know? Majority means dick. The majority of black people could be circus performers and I still wouldn't assume you were based on your skin color. It's not like I'm colorblind, but I do try not to make assumptions or blanket statements. Call me on it if I do. Do you think that means every white person on this forum is racist? I don't start threads about rape, usually. I also don't attend them much. Is that racist of me? The me too movement produced 2 documentary films and is working on a third ALL ARE ABOUT BLACK MEN. I don't deny there's racial inequality. What I object to is you blaming it on every white person. I'm just working and paying my bills. Nothing more, nothing less. There is no color check at my door and I vote in favor of minority interests more often than not.

I didn't stereotype anyone with that quote, Shell. Nor was I wasn't calling you out, specifically. The quote simply illustrates how White Supremacy is perceived VS what it actually is. It is not simply a matter of a few Neo-Nazi screaming "We hate n**gers!" at a rally or other assorted "baddies" wearing their hatred on their sleeves. It is systemic. A system of systems right here, today, in the Land of the Free that impact and shape millions of people's lives in countless horrific ways that most people are unaware of or simply do not wish to see. And while the U.S. government is the architect of White Supremacy in this country, systemic racism could not persist without the majority of this nation's citizens toeing the line for it, pretending it's just a matter of a few bad apples and thus "not that bad", or that it doesn't exist at all. That's the truth. |
