Yes, I think people should be able to utilize their private property the way they see fit so long as they are observing social distancing guidelines and their friends/relatives in accordance to those same standards--and if people choose to peacefully protest such restrictions, I don't take issue with it. You are not going to convince me that that viewpoint is the result of programming or propaganda. Just because the majority of people we happen to see protesting appear to be of the good ole boy, right-wing persuasion that does mean does that anyone who shares that particular concern is being swayed by partisan wingnuttery.

I'm critical of the thoroughly UN-IMAGINED orders which prohibit people from utilizing their personal property as they see fit, prohibit citizens from seeing family/loved ones who do not happen to live in their abode, and prohibits people from working jobs that can easily performed while practicing social distancing. Lol...Feel free to keep ignoring that though--And the the fact that, propaganda aside, some of these protesters are undoubtedly motivated by fear of losing their civil liberties and being unable to being unable to make ends meet and provide for their families--and that those fear are NOT without merit.

Do I think states should be opening next week? No, I don't. But the intent of the orders was to prevent health care system from being overwhelmed, not indefinitely keeping Americans at home until a vaccine falls out of the sky or as means of ensuring that no one ever ever ever dies from the virus again. That cannot happen in a free society.
