I year ago I thought maybe, just maybe, my country persons would come together and we'd be fine by summer of last year. How naive I was.

I was just looking at holiday fabric in case I need to be making more masks come Christmas 2021...sigh. I have little faith in my fellow country persons.

I had a brief moment like that, too. I think we actually could have if the President actually admitted that it was a terrible problem to be solved, and thought about someone other than himself, and shut the fuck up and let the experts talk. But I knew that was impossible and that we were fucked.

I just read that vaccine hesitancy and new variants will ensure that the U.S. never hits herd immunity (and likely other countries too). Covid19 in some form is here to stay.
Still, the more that get vaccinated, the better it will be.

Nasal administered vaccinations are also in the works.
