Bri doesn't understand that if you have to explain a joke it means it wasn't funny.  He also doesn't understand that claiming something is a joke doesn't make it so.

Let's go review the practical joke vs. bullying thing.  The only thing Bri can grasp is what traumatized him.

I pointed out to him that his annuities were directly tied to corporations but he either didn't see it or he ignored it.  My bet is on the latter.

Brian can only see one side of anything...and no matter how wrong it is and how clearly it's explained, he is not going to change his mind.  

His mother knew he is incapable of taking care of himself so she sacrificed so that society wouldn't have to.  He's damn lucky.

No car, no social skills, and even with money won't even buy some teeth...admits to spending his days drinking, smoking, watching old cheesy reruns, and replaying every perceived slight in his life.  I, for one, would rather he stay home...there are enough sketchy people out there I may encounter.

Yet entitled to talk about bullies, Rump, et cetera. I was cleaning manure and bringing calves to life age 9, I had to punch the richer kids in the face when mocked over smelling like shit. I don't envy him, I feel sorry. All the hardships I had, made me the man that I am now, I always liked books, even if for a while, I read a certain fantasy book, that briefly believed.

Now, I have a bright star, the shine in my eyes, that makes me want to live for the next 100 years, impossible that may be. Life is a big bowl of salt, one just has to enjoy the few nuggets of sugar amidst.
