Equality is the least fair thing in the world 
If you have a house, are you not master of all inside it? Say you shared a house with 3 people, none of you owning it... do not you own some say in who comes and goes and what is done in the house? Each syndicate would be such a thing, all with their own rules (if any), all of them different. So yes, if residents of a house (or community) on a whole wish someone to leave: they leave. They might be able to come back in future, they may have to change their behavior... but it's not up to them if they get to come back (and especially stay): that's the decision of others. This system truly is foul, isn't it?

This city is our house, and we've decided that criminals aren't allowed in our house. They keep trying though, so instead of shooting them we put them in their own "house". Since we're paying for it it's not a very extravagant house.
The only differences between what you're proposing and what we have is consistency and a system of checks, balances, and appeals that does not rely on the whims of a small subset of people who feel maligned. Oh, and the shooting people part. What we have doesn't get it right all the time, obviously. I fail to see how you can judge our system as immoral compared to your own when the system you're proposing is exactly the type of system we abandoned because it didn't work at all. Our courts and system of law are designed specifically to address the situation you are presenting as an alternative.

Yes, there is a difference between exiling someone to the wastes because you don't like what they do (based on your own metrics of what they should do) and sequestering someone within a house that you provide, with food and medical care and a slew of other shit that you provide, because of the same. Neither sound nice (and I didn't realize that prison was supposed to be nice btw), one sounds a bit like throwing away a dog because you don't like his doginess, as defined by you, rather than buying a muzzle...

To the 'wastes'? Dearest... there is more than one city on the continent Perhaps the anarcho-capitalists would all be out there doing their own things too. I do not yet see why they shouldn't be about: freedom is paramount. There would always be someplace in this world for someone willing to work with others.
You mean there is a difference between kicking someone out of your house with most (all?) of 'their belongings' in hand and provisions for a significant time... and locking them in some cellar away from the comfort of their worldly goods, away from their freedom to walk to another syndicate, away from any choices they can make. Exile from but one city still leaves many possibilities... prison in but one house leaves but the barest of opportunities.

A rapist colony then maybe? That island is looking better and better. What does your system do when all of the syndicates decide that they don't like rapists Sae? Shitty solutions to shitty problems, I agree, I just can't see how your alternative is handling this any better. Maybe it does, opinions are like assholes right? Mines as brown as the next.
Perhaps the idea of a syndicate works in one context and not in the next, could make for a decent society but has trouble dealing with criminals. Wouldn't be the first time a political ideology didn't have universal applicability.

There might be one, who am I to deny them doing as they will in their city? If it's what they want to do: by all means I'm not stopping them until they attack me.
'When' all of the syndicates decide that rapists are unworthy of being a member of a society (despite my utter disagreement with the principle of blindly hating all rapists. Plenty of rapists/molesters are so because of control loss. Once. And regret it forever from then. Hell, I know from experience. Other rapes occur in a 'domestic' setting when one spouse wants it and another doesn't and the one who wants it takes it in spite of being told no. Most rapes are with someone you know and trust... not a thing that would necessarily occur with anyone other than the one they raped. Fact: the rapists who actively seek out strangers to rape ('serial rapists') are in the low minority. Branding every rapist as such is no better than branding every murderer a 'serial murderer' (also in the low minority))... well then that sucks for rapists who would otherwise be valuable members of a society. There's space 'outside' for them to exist, and if there are also anarcho-capitalists about: they can always use you

Yeah I can run the prison that you people would require even though you can't bring yourselves to admit it. No worries, I'm even against the death penalty, so I'd make a great warden..hehe. On the other hand, if you folks dump all of your violent undesireables on me you may end up with a well armed problem knocking at the gates someday...

Im fine with jail to a point that it is a very short term holding pen to store the person humanely until trial has been made. Prisons, on the otherhand, I am very much against. Of course, If I had to be forced to make a choice between prison for life and execution, I would vote prison for life.
I would much prefer exile. Kick that person outside of the borders, give the person one set of clothing and shoes and a bag full of tools to help him or her survive and then they are on their own. If they are not willing to co-exist with a bare minimum anarcho society, then they are more than likely not willing to co-exist with anyone. Im even willing to take the "prison island" concept, but I frown on it a bit. I also dont like the idea of kicking our problems into other communities borders. this isnt an easy choice.
Exile is only for people who commit murder and the most worst types of social disfunction, like rape and treason against your community.
In a syndicate, things like "theft" no longer exist as everyone has a fair share of the pie, and there is no reason to steal. In fact, once capitalism is banned, most, if not all crimes will cease to exist on the financial end of the bargain.
In the end, I feel that only horrendous crimes deserve punishment, and that punishment merely be a humane exile.
