The last time Pele was seen playing an international football (soccer) match, who was the goalkeeper? (Hint: You don’t have to know anything about football to get this right.)
The last time Pele was seen in an international match was in the 1981 film ‘Victory’ and the goalkeeper was...Sylvester Stallone.

What do the following have in common:
-Windows in 2015
-Eurovision since 2016
-‘Red Dwarf’ in 2012
-iPhones
They all skip the the number 9 - there is no ‘Windows 9’, you can’t give a contestant in the Eurovision Song Contest 9 points, ‘Red Dwarf’ has no series 9, and there is no iPhone 9.

Tip o’ the hat to arewethereyet and Brian37 for the ones they got right.

I now know more about Pele than I ever wanted to know. Damn you.
Get him back by mentioning the Smurfs theme.

Aww, there’s still two unanswered questions. You started off so well - don’t give up now!

If the thread is open to everyone, should it matter if you asked more than one? Others can answer the ones I don't.
Boru, I don't want what is supposed to be a fun thread to be like playing Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, or Backgammon with the family I grew up with.

Let me guess - your family started off playing Monopoly and you turned it into a hopscotch tournament?

Um no, my late mother and my have sister by adoption in my youth were both hyper competitive. I didn't care about losing myself, but damn, the few times I did win they reacted like I had bombed Pearl Harbor.

I see. It’s just that since you seemed to enjoy derailing this thread so much, I thought maybe you also enjoyed derailed family games.

You responded to me I responded to you.
So you have never watched a TV game show involving smalltalk between play? You've never razzed someone in person, they've never razzed you in a person to person board game when one got one up on the other?
Fine, ask more questions. I'll ask mine too. But if you are looking for golf or chess, this is silly, "Trivia" is a bar game, not a military exercise.

I don’t watch game shows and I don’t play board games, so ‘no’ to both of those.
If you want to start your own trivia thread, help yourself. But I’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t hijack mine.

What was Barney Fife's famous line implying the need to stop a behavior?
