I've been puzzled by the motivations of some people here. Not being a mind-reader, I really don't know why they do some things.
If the goal is to change minds, very little of what goes on here seems well thought out.
If the goal is to get pleasure from poking other people in the eye, it makes more sense.

The idea that the contents of a forum post are going to change minds does makes evangelical outreach absurd, sure.
