If you were alone on the planet, what would you do?

I would drive around and post Living in Forest Grove on any billboards I find so people will know to come find me. I will put an address too but it will be one near me but on a different street so I can survey them while they come rolling in.
I would also go appropriate some drones to help with the search. I know a bit about how to operate drones. I would go to the local airport and find myself a nice Cessna 182 (or 185 if I felt like a taildragger) and bring along some m80 firecrackers with long fuses. I would set up some LED camping lanterns along the runway to serve as landing lights - then take off an hour or so after sunset.... I would fly a box pattern around the airport - ten miles or so out - dropping m80s every minute or so... The bang would get their attention - and then they would hear the aircraft engine. If they wanted contact - I expect they would make themselves known with some lights.... Easy peasy - and fun as well...  
Clearly, the best, most low-energy way to find survivors is to sit down and start playing solitaire. In fairly short order, some nudzh will come along and tell you to play the red jack on the black queen.

I would remind you all that about half the survivors in The Stand weren't very nice.

Well, I can't fly; although if I thought I was the last person I could probably figure it out with no regulations or other planes taking off. Besides, you would be presenting a huge target and would most likely be shot at. I wouldn't mind losing a drone and I would paint a smiley on them so people knew I wasn't luring them into a cannibalistic trap, probably.
